Musician Bruno K’s newly launched TikTok live session, “Ekiboozi,” has proven to be a resounding success, garnering massive support from his online fanbase. Launched on Monday amidst rumours of a strained relationship with his “Champanya” co-host Crysto Panda, the solo venture has already achieved a significant milestone.
By midnight on its debut night, “Ekiboozi” had remarkably collected over 13 million Ugandan shillings. This outpouring of generosity from fans was specifically aimed at purchasing Bruno K a new car, following online chatter and some trolling regarding his current vehicle being “cheap and old.”
The inaugural “Ekiboozi” session was a vibrant affair, attracting a peak viewership of over 30,000 live viewers by midnight. Bruno K was joined by several prominent personalities, including his close friend and former news anchor Faridah Nakazibwe, renowned media personality Mama Fiina, and popular TikToker Generations, among other supportive figures.
The overwhelming financial support and high viewership numbers signify a strong backing for Bruno K’s independent endeavour.
