Popular comedian and businessman Alex Muhangi, the mastermind behind the widely acclaimed Comedy Store, has issued a heartfelt plea to his fans and well-wishers ahead of his scheduled court appearance on March 19, 2025. The legal tussle stems from a dispute with prominent musician Bebe Cool regarding video clips of the artist’s performance at Comedy Store, which Muhangi posted on the show’s digital platforms.
In a candid social media post, Muhangi revealed the seriousness of the situation, stating, “As some of you may know, I’m currently facing a legal situation with Bebe Cool regarding the Comedy Store videos of his performance that I posted on our platforms. The guy was serious.”
The comedian further disclosed that he is set to appear in court at City Hall at 9 AM on the specified date and extended an invitation to supporters to join him. “Tomorrow at 9 AM, I’ll be appearing in court at City Hall, please join me if you can,” he wrote.
Muhangi also provided practical instructions for those planning to attend, emphasizing the need for specific identification documents. “Don’t forget your National ID and LC Letter to stand as surety for me,” he added.
